While Haekeung Park's Lenticular series is fundamentally rooted in traditional painting characteristics, Park incorporates modern technology, particularly the Lenticular method, to craft uniquely innovative paintings. Utilizing convex lenses, the lenticular technique alters patterns and conveys a sense of depth depending on the viewer's perspective. This method combines fantastical, engaging, and three-dimensional qualities, creating synergy to convey thematic elements and offer viewers an adventurous and distinct experience. The repetitive motion of small objects carries directionality, forming expansive shapes and imbuing vitality throughout via lenticular techniques. This process, beginning with the movement of individual elements and culminating in a cohesive whole, represents a life journey transcending the past and advancing towards the future through the present. The dynamic progression from individual to entirety reflects the interconnectedness with nature on a grand scale. It highlights the positive essence of all life forms, the cyclical nature of existence, and the trajectory towards the future. Moreover, a message of hope is encapsulated through butterflies gracefully traversing Mother Nature.
